Values

We are all born innocent, then something happens and we become a little jaded, and little by little we adopt values that could well be tainted by both nature and nurture and before too long it is really difficult to find where to draw the line on the vast field of VALUES.

In business, or should I say long-term, successful business, it is imperative to have a proper, well working, moral compass.
To be dishonest in business is to rob yourself! And the more you rob yourself, the poorer you will get!
It is the law of life that what comes around, goes around, and in simple terms, this is said to mean that people's actions will eventually have consequences which they will have to deal with, even though this may not happen for a long time. You reap what you sow!

I am always amazed at the rapid default to dishonesty in business and most people wonder why they are struggling.

It NEVER pays to cheat, anyone, and more particularly in business. People are not fools, they know when they are being ripped off, and if you are doing the ripping, then  you may make a quick buck, but the forces in nature will make you eat those bad habits.

However, by being honest and true to yourself and others, a magic response takes place, at first you are not sure how this all happens, but know this, it is a part of the natural order of things, it is an immutable law that governs life and all that is in it. What happens when you show kindness, not so as to get a reward but because that is who you are, because your humanity and your value system come into play automatically? It reverberates, it is contagious, it will be reciprocated instantly, there is an ancient saying that is timelessly true "there is more happiness in giving, than in receiving" and that is what Simon has shown to be true in the above video.

It is inescapable, you must feel good, the recipient feels good, the witnesses feel good and they in turn are motivated to do good and that dear friends, is the essence of life, the good life. This is what we teach at the TOOLBOX ACADEMY!
